Cheiron Studios

Cheiron Studios was a recording facility in Kungsholmen, Stockholm, with dedicated spaces for vocal recording, instrumental work, and post-production. The studio operated as a complete production center equipped with professional recording technology for commercial music.

Cheiron Studios opened in 1992 and quickly became a leading production center for commercial pop music in Scandinavia. The studio closed in 2000 after one of its founders passed away and the original operation ended.

The studio shaped Swedish pop music through work with international artists like Britney Spears, NSYNC, and Backstreet Boys, who recorded their biggest songs here. These collaborations made the space a center for hit production and influenced the music industry worldwide.

The location is centrally placed in Stockholm and reachable by public transport. Note that the space now operates as Roxy Recordings and may not always be open to visitors, so it's worth checking ahead about access and current operations.

Max Martin developed his production style here and created several global hits that defined 2000s pop music. His influence on music production began in this studio, making it a place of significant importance for modern music.
