Nils Ericson Terminal, Bus terminal in central Gothenburg, Sweden
The Nils Ericson Terminal spans 5,000 square meters and contains 18 indoor gates and 11 outdoor gates for regional and international bus services.
The terminal was constructed in 1995 and received the national Kasper Salin Prize in 1996 for its architectural design by Norwegian architect Niels Torp.
The terminal carries the name of Nils Ericson, a Swedish inventor and mechanical engineer who made substantial contributions to transportation engineering.
Passengers can access direct bus connections to Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, and multiple cities across Västra Götaland County through various transport companies.
The terminal features an indoor climate-controlled passenger area where travelers board buses directly through gates, similar to an airport terminal system.
