Palacehuset

Palacehuset sits at Södra Hamngatan and houses a hotel, restaurant, and commercial spaces totaling around 4,800 square meters. The building combines historic architecture with diverse modern functions for visitors and diners.

Built in the late 1800s as Fürstenbergska palatset, the building was home to art collectors Pontus and Göthilda Fürstenberg. Over time it evolved from a private residence into a mixed-use commercial structure.

The Fürstenberg family opened an art gallery inside where Swedish artists could meet and display their works. This artistic focus became central to the building's identity in the city.
