Centralbadsparken, Garden near Centralbadet Art Nouveau spa in Norrmalm, Stockholm, Sweden.
Centralbadsparken is a small garden next to the Art Nouveau spa Centralbadet in Stockholm's Norrmalm district. The park is defined by a central fountain featuring a bronze Triton sculpture, surrounded by trees and landscaped grounds.
The site began as part of the Hårlemanska malmgården estate in the 18th century and later became a public park alongside Centralbadet. This transformation occurred when the spa was built as an Art Nouveau structure and the surrounding area was redesigned.
The bronze Triton sculpture was created by Greta Klemming, daughter of Centralbadet's architect Wilhelm Klemming. Today this work shapes the park's appearance and gives it an artistic character.
The park is accessible during daytime hours through an open passage from Drottninggatan street, near the Rydbergs restaurant and Centralbadet entrance. The compact grounds can be easily viewed and offer a quiet spot to pass through or pause briefly while exploring the city.
Centralbadsparken ranks among Stockholm's tiniest parks, completely enclosed by early functionalist buildings and historic structures within the Islandet block. This seclusion gives it a distinct character despite its small size, set apart from the busy streets around it.
