Grönstedska palatset

Grönstedska palatset is a large corner building between Sankt Eriksgatan and Norra Stationsgatan, designed with Chinese architectural influences throughout. The structure houses extensive office spaces and includes practical facilities such as parking areas, freight elevators, and loading areas for daily operations.

The building was constructed in 1923 to serve as the main headquarters for the wine company Vin & Sprit. Its location near the railway station was chosen specifically to enable efficient transport of wine stocks in and out of the facility.

Two stone lions flank the main entrance on Sankt Eriksgatan and catch the eye immediately. The building's curved roofline displays design influences from East Asian architecture, giving it a distinctive visual character.
