Hovförvaltningens hus, Administrative building near Stockholm Palace, Sweden
The stone facade of Hovförvaltningens hus features baroque style elements from the turn of the century, with a tall fire wall facing the Finnish Church.
Construction of the building took place between 1911 and 1912, following designs by architect Erik Josephson on the former site of Indebetou House.
The structure contains 25 apartments used by the Royal Court of Sweden, maintaining its connection to royal administrative functions through generations.
Located at Slottsbacken 2 in Stockholm's Old Town, the building stands directly opposite Stockholm Palace and near public transportation stations.
Initial reactions to the building included concerns about its height and positioning, with critics noting its visual competition with the nearby Parliament House.
