Stora Skuggan

Stora Skuggan is a collection of buildings situated among oak groves and green meadows within Stockholm's Royal National City Park. The complex offers walking trails throughout the grounds and includes facilities such as public restrooms and a cafe.

The site originated from Edelcrantz's agricultural experiments with new cultivation techniques that eventually led to founding the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture. These early research activities shaped what the place would become.

The 4H farm operates as a working educational space where children learn farming and animal care through hands-on experience. This function shapes how families and schools use the site during their visits.
