Počúvadlo Reservoir

Počúvadlo is an artificial lake in the Štiavnica Mountains that stretches between green slopes and offers swimming in summer and winter sports during colder months. The water is framed by forested shores with small lodges and cottages scattered around its edges.

The reservoir was built in medieval times as one of several water storage systems created by miners to support their operations. This construction shows how the old mining community managed water for their working needs.
