Zlobivá, Mountain summit in High Tatras, Slovakia

The slender triple-peaked Zlobivá rises to 2,425.7 meters above sea level, featuring a steep northern slope descending into the Kačacia valley.

The first documented ascent of Zlobivá occurred in 1899 when mountaineers Karol Jordán and Marthe Lavallé successfully reached the summit.

The name Zlobivá comes from the Polish and Goral word 'żloby', meaning gullies, which describes the deep grooves marking the mountain's surface.

Access to the summit requires professional guidance as there are no marked tourist trails within the protected area of Tatra National Park.

The middle peak, named Wachterova veža, commemorates Eugen Wechter who completed its first recorded ascent on August 5, 1907.
