Mandoul Region

Mandoul Region is an administrative territory in southern Chad divided into three departments, with Koumra serving as the administrative capital. The area encompasses multiple settlements organized through four arrondissements, each containing distinct neighborhoods.

The territory originated from the former administrative division of Moyen-Chari before becoming an independent administrative region of Chad. This reorganization was part of the country's broader administrative restructuring.

Local languages such as Bedjond, Mango, and Gor shape everyday communication and social connections among residents. This linguistic diversity reflects the distinct communities that inhabit the territory.
