Tha Bo, Administrative district in Nong Khai, Thailand
Tha Bo is an administrative district in Nong Khai in northeastern Thailand. The area spreads along the Mekong River and is divided into smaller administrative subdivisions with rural communities.
This area was established as a separate district during the late 1800s as part of administrative reforms in eastern Thailand. The district took on its modern structure during this period of regional reorganization.
The administrative structure includes ten tambon organizations that manage local affairs and support traditional Thai agricultural practices.
The district is accessible by well-maintained roads that connect to nearby cities and the Mekong area. Getting around is straightforward if you have your own transportation.
The district ranked third in Thailand for air quality concerns in 2018, following measurements from Samut Sakhon and Khorat.
