The mosque preserves a hand-written Quran and original construction plans, serving as a central gathering point for Islamic ceremonies in southern Thailand.
Located at coordinates 6.484243, 101.656179, the mosque received substantial renovation funding of 200 million Thai Baht in 2014 to enhance facilities.
The original construction used locally sourced hummingbird and ironwood trees, assembled with wooden wedges instead of metal nails.
