Fashion Island, shopping mall in Bangkok
Fashion Island is a large shopping center in Khan Na Yao, Bangkok, located on Ramintra Road. It houses over 600 stores featuring international brands and Thai designers, along with a multiplex cinema, kids' play areas, food courts, and restaurants offering Thai, Asian, and international cuisine.
Fashion Island opened in 1995 and has since become a popular shopping and leisure destination in Bangkok. It was developed by Siam Retail Development, a well-known company in Thailand that has built several other major retail centers across the country.
The center is easily accessible by public transport, being a short walk from the Pink Line's Eastern Outer Ring Station and close to multiple bus stops throughout the area. There are over 5,000 parking spaces available, with wheelchair accessibility, elevators, and ramps throughout the building for convenient navigation.
The center features Grand Station Market, a special zone offering additional shopping and dining options catering to different tastes and lifestyles. During festivals like Songkran and Loy Krathong, the center is decorated elaborately and hosts cultural activities that draw visitors for celebrations and photo opportunities.
