Khlong Phanom National Park, Nature reserve in Phanom district, Surat Thani Province, Thailand.
The national park spans 410 square kilometers of tropical forest within the Phuket mountain range, featuring vertical cliffs and diverse plant species.
The Department of National Parks established Khlong Phanom as a protected area in November 2000 to preserve natural resources in southern Thailand.
Cave paintings from the Neolithic period remain visible on rock walls throughout the park, indicating early human presence in this region.
Foreign visitors can access the park through Surat Thani by bus or minivan, with entrance fees of 100 THB for adults and 50 THB for children.
The park contains Mai Pai Chiang Ruun, the largest bamboo species in Thailand, growing among the dense tropical vegetation.
