Khao Phanom Bencha National Park

The park stretches across 50 square kilometers, featuring dense tropical forests, limestone caves, and multiple waterfalls cascading through mountainous terrain.

The Department of National Parks designated this protected area on July 9, 1981, establishing boundaries between Muang, Ao Luek, and Khao Phanom districts.

The central mountain reaching 1,397 meters serves as a natural landmark for local communities and provides resources for traditional forest products.

Visitors need to arrange private transportation to reach the park entrance, located 27 kilometers from Krabi Town, with operating hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

The park contains over 200 bird species, including white-crowned hornbills and helmeted hornbills, along with rare mammals such as clouded leopards and tapirs.
