Tubkaek Beach

Tubkaek Beach is a sandy shore in Nong Thale with soft white sand and turquoise waters that curve gently along the coast. The Hong Islands sit on the horizon, framing the view and creating a natural boundary.

Nong Thale began as a small fishing village and transformed into a popular destination during the 1990s as tourism grew in Krabi. This shift brought significant changes to how the area developed over time.

Fishermen work here in the early morning hours, going about their daily routines and mending nets among the wooden boats scattered along the sand.

The beach sits about 45 minutes from Krabi Airport and offers direct access to parking and lodging options along the shore. Visitors will find good conditions for swimming and exploring the coastline without difficulty.

Limestone formations in the sea act as a natural breakwater, sheltering the shore from strong waves throughout the year. This makes it one of the calmer spots along the coast.
