Lam Nam Kra Buri National Park, Protected natural reserve in Ranong Province, Thailand.
The park spans 160 square kilometers along the Kraburi River, containing evergreen forests, mangrove ecosystems, and numerous islands within its boundaries.
Thailand established Lam Nam Kra Buri National Park on April 21, 1999, to protect the biodiversity along the border with Myanmar's Tanintharyi Division.
The park's management collaborates with local communities who maintain traditional fishing practices in the Kraburi River's mangrove-rich waters.
Visitors reach the park by following Road No. 4 from Ranong city northward for 18 kilometers until arriving at the headquarters.
The park features six distinct islands, including Ko Nok Plao, which contains some of Thailand's most intact mangrove forest ecosystems.
