Mu Ko Surin National Park, Marine national park in Phang Nga Province, Thailand
Two main islands, Ko Surin Nuea and Ko Surin Tai, form most of this 135-square-kilometer park, with three smaller islands completing the archipelago.
The park received national protection status to safeguard its marine environment, including extensive coral reefs and diverse aquatic species.
The Moken community of 329 people maintains their traditional lifestyle on Ko Surin Tai, adapting to changes after the 2004 tsunami and 2019 fire.
Visitors can access the park through Khura Buri Pier, with entrance fees of 500 Baht for international adults and 250 Baht for children.
Richelieu Rock, located 18 kilometers southeast, features purple coral reefs where divers frequently spot manta rays and whale sharks.
