The Bardo National Museum attack was a terrorist shooting at the Bardo National Museum in Tunis.
On March 18, 2015, militants associated with ISIL attacked the museum.
The museum houses many artifacts from Tunisia's Carthaginian, Roman, and Islamic periods.
Following the attack, security measures around tourist sites in Tunisia were increased.
