Stadia

Stadia is an ancient city in Caria with visible stone walls and scattered architectural fragments spread across the site. The ruins show how the settlement was organized around different functional areas and residential zones.

The city emerged during the Carian period as part of a network of settlements in the eastern Aegean region. It was later influenced by successive powers that controlled the area.

The site is open to visitors and can usually be explored from early morning until sunset. Comfortable shoes are recommended since the ground is uneven and scattered with stones.
