White Bridge

The White Bridge is a Roman deck arch bridge in Gelibolu featuring three flattened arches built from carefully fitted stone blocks. The structure demonstrates how Roman engineers constructed durable crossings over waterways using materials available in the region.

This bridge was constructed during Roman times as a key link on trading routes connecting Europe and Asia. It has survived multiple periods of rule and was valued by successive powers for its strategic location.
