SEKA Paper Museum, Paper museum in İzmit, Turkey.
The SEKA Paper Museum consists of 16 halls across four floors, displaying 443 historical documents and 337 artifacts related to paper manufacturing methods.
The building originated as Turkey's first paper mill in 1936, producing 12,000 tons annually before its transformation into a museum in 2016.
The museum preserves industrial heritage through exhibits of working machinery, traditional papermaking demonstrations, and displays of worker life at the former factory.
Located in northwestern Turkey, the museum opens Tuesday through Sunday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, offering guided tours and educational workshops.
Five restored printing machines from the original factory remain operational, including one that functioned continuously for 70 years.
