Indian Caribbean Museum of Trinidad and Tobago

The Indian Caribbean Museum houses collections of artifacts, documents, and photographs that represent the Indo-Caribbean community in Trinidad and Tobago.

Founded by the Sanatan Dharma Maha Sabha in 2006, this institution became the first museum dedicated to Indo-Caribbean heritage in the Caribbean region.

The museum exhibits traditional clothing, musical instruments, religious items, and household objects that illustrate the daily life of Indo-Trinidadian families.

Located near the Temple in the Sea, the museum operates regular hours and provides educational programs for schools and community groups throughout the year.

The museum maintains genealogical records and migration documents that help visitors trace their ancestral connections to the Indian subcontinent.
