Douliou City

Douliu City is the administrative center of Yunlin County, organized across multiple districts and neighborhoods. The urban area combines residential, commercial, and institutional zones that support the functions of a county seat.

The city was established in 1901 during Japanese administration under a different name and gradually grew into a regional center. In 1981, it was upgraded to county-administered city status, marking an important shift in its administrative role.
