Xizhou Township

Xizhou Township is an administrative division in Changhua County, Taiwan, comprising multiple villages spread across a mixed landscape of farmland, rural communities, and smaller urban centers. The region consists of numerous settlements connected by local roads that structure the daily rhythm of residents.

The township took its current form after World War II when Taiwan dissolved Japanese administrative structures and established its own governance system. Earlier Japanese administrative zones were reorganized into the modern administrative region that exists today.

The township integrates traditional agricultural practices with modern developments across its villages, including Caigong, Chaoyang, Chenggong, and sixteen additional communities.

The township is well connected to neighboring areas through local transport networks and maintains good road access to surrounding regions. Visitors should use local transportation to explore the various villages and get a sense of the rural landscape.

The area encompasses the Changhua Fitzroy Garden and sections of the Xiluo Bridge, landmarks that many visitors overlook when exploring the region. These features are scattered throughout the settlements and offer different perspectives on the area.
