Mudan Shuiku, Stausee in der Republik China
Mudan Shuiku is a reservoir in Taiwan located in a mountainous region covered with dense forest. The dam holds back water to create an expansive lake bordered by steep, green slopes and natural woodland.
The reservoir was built to support water supply and power generation for the surrounding region. It became part of Taiwan's water management infrastructure serving both agricultural and energy needs.
The site can be reached by a mountain road that winds through forested terrain. Visitors should come prepared for variable mountain weather and bring sturdy footwear for exploring the surrounding slopes.
