Agenna Shipyard Relics, Industrial ruins in Zhongzheng District, Taiwan.
Agenna Shipyard Relics are abandoned industrial structures with concrete walls and metal frames positioned along the waterfront. The building remains stand close to Peace Island Bridge and clearly show traces of past factory operations.
The site was founded in 1966 and served to manufacture luxury yachts for international markets. It represents Taiwan's shift from heavy industry to modern shipbuilding.
The site reflects Keelung's industrial heritage and shows how shipbuilding shaped the city's relationship with the harbor. The ruins remind visitors of the era when skilled workers and metal crafts played a central role in the community.
The site is located in the fishing harbor area and is reachable by public transportation from Keelung Railway Station. Visitors should note that the location is outdoors and offers varying conditions depending on weather.
The structure was nearly demolished before local authorities stepped in to protect the industrial heritage. This rescue action saved an important piece of the city's past from complete disappearance.
