Raukhivka

Raukhivka is a small town situated in the steppe region, located roughly 5 kilometers southwest of Berezivka. The settlement functions as a transportation hub with both rail connections and road access to major highways.

The town underwent an administrative reclassification in January 2024, changing from an urban-type settlement to a rural settlement status. This shift reflected changes in how the place is officially recognized within the local governance system.

Raukhivka maintains its position as the administrative center of the Raukhivka settlement hromada, representing local governance traditions within the Ukrainian system.

The railway station serves as the main transportation hub, connecting the town to cities like Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kropyvnytskyi. The town also provides road access to Highway M05, making onward travel to other regions relatively straightforward.

The town blends agricultural traditions with its function as a major transportation junction, creating an interesting mix of rural and transit-oriented character. This combination makes it a bridge between the surrounding steppes and the larger urban centers across the region.
