Bila Krynytsia, Rural settlement in Velyka Oleksandrivka, Ukraine
The settlement lies between the Inhulets and Vysun rivers in the southern Ukrainian steppe region at an elevation of 14 meters.
Russian forces occupied Bila Krynytsia during their 2022 invasion until Ukrainian forces regained control in June of the same year.
The settlement maintains traditional agricultural practices while incorporating modern industrial elements, representing a transition from rural to urban development.
The Bila Krynytsia railway station connects travelers along the Dubka-Snihurivka line, providing transportation access for the local population.
In January 2024, new legislation changed the status of Bila Krynytsia from an urban-type settlement to a rural settlement.
