Liubymivka

Located on the left bank of the Dnieper River at 58 meters elevation, Liubymivka extends near the Kakhovka city boundaries in southern Ukraine.

The settlement experienced administrative changes when Ukraine introduced the urban-type classification system in the 1920s, defining new criteria for community development.

The population of 5,449 residents maintains connections to both agricultural traditions and modern administrative functions as a local governance center.

The settlement connects to transportation networks through the Zapovitne railway station 5 kilometers south and the M14 highway linking Kherson to Melitopol.

In January 2024, Liubymivka transitioned from an urban-type settlement to a rural settlement status following new Ukrainian legislation.
