Komysh-Zoria

Located at 238 meters above sea level, Komysh-Zoria spans across the steppe region between Zaporizhzhia and Mariupol, covering an area of 371 square kilometers.

Originally part of Bilmak Raion until July 2020, Komysh-Zoria underwent administrative restructuring and became integrated into the newly formed Polohy Raion of Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

The settlement houses multiple religious communities, including Ukrainian Orthodox Church branches, Evangelical Baptist Christians, and Seventh-day Adventists, representing regional spiritual diversity.

The railway junction of Komysh-Zoria connects multiple lines to Polohy, Zaporizhzhia, Tokmak, Melitopol, Volnovakha, Donetsk, and Mariupol, facilitating regional transportation.

The settlement serves as an administrative center for ten distinct communities, managing a territory with a population density of 16 persons per square kilometer.
