Komysh-Zoria

Komysh-Zoria is a railway settlement in the steppe region between Zaporizhzhia and Mariupol and serves as a regional transportation hub. The settlement connects multiple rail lines leading to Polohy, Zaporizhzhia, Tokmak, Melitopol, Volnovakha, Donetsk, and Mariupol.

The settlement was part of Bilmak Raion until July 2020, when an administrative reform integrated it into the newly created Polohy Raion of Zaporizhzhia Oblast. This restructuring changed the settlement's administrative affiliation and governance.

The settlement is home to several religious communities including Ukrainian Orthodox Church branches, Evangelical Baptist Christians, and Seventh-day Adventists, reflecting the region's spiritual diversity. You can see the various places of worship that shape daily life here.
