Harbour Bridge, Reinforced concrete bridge in Podil, Ukraine.
Harbour Bridge is a reinforced concrete structure connecting Podil and Obolon districts across the harbor area. It spans approximately 380 meters with six traffic lanes distributed in both directions.
Construction began in 2003 and the bridge opened on December 17, 2007. It replaced the older Rybalsky Bridge, which had fallen into disrepair.
The bridge carries the Ukrainian name Havanskyi most and links two districts that were long separated by water. It represents how the city has reshaped its spatial connections over the years.
The bridge is open daily for vehicle traffic and provides a direct route between the two districts. Pedestrians and cyclists should note that it is primarily designed for cars.
The bridge crosses the former bed of the Pochaina River, a waterway that once shaped Kyiv's landscape. This location merges modern infrastructure with the city's ancient geographical past.
