Peter the Great house, Kyiv

Peter the Great's house is a two-story brick building with baroque ornamental elements arranged symmetrically on its facade at Kostiantynivska Street. Its construction methods and decorative details reveal typical features of Ukrainian Baroque architecture from the early 1700s.

The building was constructed in the early 1700s and gained its name from Peter I of Russia, who stayed there during his visits to Kyiv. These stays helped establish the structure as an important point in the city's past.
