Hnat Khotkevych Municipal Palace of Culture, Palace of culture in Lviv, Ukraine
The Hnat Khotkevych Municipal Palace of Culture features three halls spanning 640 square meters with a capacity to accommodate 597 visitors for various events.
Built through worker donations in 1938, the palace originated from a 1924 protest demanding dedicated spaces for entertainment and leisure activities in Lviv.
The institution hosts numerous artistic programs, from theater productions to music performances, serving as a central venue for creative expression in Lviv.
Located at 1 Kushevytcha Street, the palace maintains three distinct spaces: the main hall of 465 square meters, Khotkevych Space of 82 square meters, and Khotkevych Veranda of 93 square meters.
The building housed the Judenrat during German occupation and later transformed from a workers' club to a municipal cultural center named after Ukrainian artist Hnat Khotkevych.
