Klenovyi

Klenovyi is a settlement in Dovzhansk Hromada in eastern Ukraine with mixed characteristics of a small town and rural village. The place contains residential areas, farmland, and some industrial facilities that reflect how smaller communities blend different economic activities.

The settlement gained its town-like status during Soviet administrative reforms in the 1920s that created new community classifications. This designation changed in 2024 when Ukrainian administrative reforms reclassified it as a rural area instead.

The settlement maintains both agricultural traditions and urban infrastructure, reflecting the transitional nature between rural and urban communities in Ukraine.

The settlement is easy to reach by road and can be explored on foot since different areas are close together. Visitors should expect a mixed infrastructure with some modern facilities alongside older structures typical of transitional communities.
