Inhul Bridge, Moveable road bridge in Mykolaiv, Ukraine
The Ingulsky Bridge extends 422 meters across the Ingul River, featuring a 76-meter moveable section and two pedestrian pathways along its 19-meter width.
Construction of the current Ingulsky Bridge took place between 1974 and 1980, replacing an original pontoon bridge that served the area since 1795.
The bridge forms a central part of Mykolaiv's industrial identity, connecting the city center to the shipbuilding district across the Ingul River.
The structure includes dedicated lanes for vehicles and trolleybuses, while the moveable section allows large vessels to pass through to the shipbuilding facilities.
Until 1996, the Ingulsky Bridge maintained the status of having the largest moveable section among bridges in Europe.
