Regional Landscape Park «Kramatorsky», Protected landscape park in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine.
Regional Landscape Park Kramatorsky is a protected nature space in Donetsk Oblast that is divided into four separate sections: Bilenke, Belokuzminovsky, Pchyolkinsky, and Kamyshevaha. Each section shows different landscape formations, from open steppes to dense forest stands and various geological features.
This site was established in 2004 to protect natural formations that span different geological periods. The geology of the separate sections reflects the deep earth history of the region over vast stretches of time.
This space functions as a place where people learn about local ecosystems through organized programs and guided walks in nature. The different landscapes allow direct encounters with the steppes and forest areas of the region.
The four sections are accessed separately, each with its own trails and different conditions for visitors. It makes sense to check ahead which area fits best with your interests and how much time you have.
One section contains a notable chalk formation, while another area serves as an important habitat for water birds. This combination makes the park a place where both geology and wildlife can be directly experienced.
