Lazar Globa Central City Children's Park, Urban park in central Dnipro, Ukraine
Lazar Globa Central City Children's Park is an urban park with artificial lakes, walking paths, and play areas spread across a large area. The grounds include a dolphinarium, multiple playgrounds, and a 2-kilometer children's railway circuit.
The grounds were established in 1807 on former land of Cossack Lazar Globa and initially served as a state botanical garden. Emperor Alexander I issued the decree to create it.
The central location hosts regular performances on a shell-shaped stage where visitors can see local artists and musicians. The space draws residents throughout the year for gathering and community events.
The park offers many activities and areas suitable for family visits, including go-kart tracks alongside the other attractions mentioned. Visitors should wear comfortable shoes since the grounds are large and there are many paths to explore.
The grounds contain over 8,000 trees and 2,000 shrubs along with wooden sculptures and a fountain depicting a scene from a famous literary work. These botanical and artistic elements create an unexpected blend of nature and creativity.
