Pozniaky is a residential neighborhood in the Darnytskyi district that stretches between the Dnieper embankment and Grigorenko Avenue. The area contains a mix of older apartment complexes and newer residential buildings that form the streetscape.
The settlement was first recorded in 1571 as property of an aristocratic family before being transferred to Metropolitan Petro Mohyla in 1631. The area transformed into a modern urban district during the 20th century industrial expansion of Kyiv.
