The National Museum of Literature resides in a classical style building from 1871, featuring exhibits that present Ukrainian literary development across centuries.
The structure initially served as the Pavlo Galagan Collegium, a private educational institution, before its transformation into a museum through a 1981 government decree.
The museum collection contains 5,000 exhibits, including antique books, manuscripts, photographs, and personal items belonging to notable Ukrainian writers.
Located at 11 Bohdana Khmelnytskoho Street, the museum maintains regular visiting hours and provides access to permanent and temporary literary exhibitions.
Since 2015, a volunteer group called Museum Bees operates within the building, creating camouflage nets and military equipment for Ukrainian soldiers.
