The Kiev Teacher's House is a four-story building in a classical style on Volodymyrska Street, in the center of Kyiv. It houses a museum dedicated to the history of education in Ukraine, alongside a public library and a cultural center.
The building was completed in 1911 and became the seat of the Ukrainian Central Council between 1917 and 1918, during Ukraine's push for independence. After that period ended, it was given over to education and has kept that role ever since.
