Sky Towers, Mixed-use architectural complex in Kyiv, Ukraine
Sky Towers is a mixed-use complex in Kyiv consisting of two planned towers reaching up to 47 floors. The development was designed to include retail spaces and a large underground parking structure with hundreds of spaces.
Construction began in January 2008 but halted in February 2016 when the developer KDD Group faced financial difficulties. The project stagnated afterward and never reached its planned completion.
The towers embody the modern transformation of Kyiv's skyline and show how the city evolved since the 2000s. They shape the image of contemporary architecture in the Ukrainian capital and reflect the building aspirations of that era.
The site is accessible by public transport or car and is located in a central area of Kyiv. Visitors should be aware that the project remains incomplete and access may be limited.
The project was originally known as ZAGS, named after the nearby Central Civil Registry Office. The site went through several ownership changes during its construction.
