Utkin House is a revenue building in Kyiv decorated with brickwork, plaster, and ceramic ornamental elements across two floors with a symmetrical facade composition. Side projections on the building feature special design elements that distinguish it from neighboring structures.

Oil paint merchant Ivan Utkin commissioned architect Oleksandr Verbytskyi to design this house between 1890 and 1905. The building emerged as a typical example of prosperous residential structures being built in the city during that era.

The building shows the Neo-Renaissance language typical of late 19th century Kyiv, with distinctive decorative elements on the facade and roof area. Visitors can observe these ornamental details up close and understand how prosperous merchants shaped their homes during this period.

The site is located at 29 Symona Petliury Street near Kyiv's central railway station and is easily reachable on foot. The building remained in use until 2021 and can be viewed from the outside, making it accessible to those interested in architecture.

The bricks used in this building came from a factory owned by Kyiv merchant Hryhory Yasko, connecting it to local building traditions of the time. This material sourcing reflects how construction relied on neighborhood networks and craftspeople during that era.
