National Nature Park Great Meadow

The 16,756-hectare park extends along the south bank of the Dnieper River, featuring wetlands, steppes, and coastal strips with diverse plant species.

The creation of Kakhovka Reservoir by the Dnieper Hydroelectric Station in the mid-20th century reshaped the landscape, submerging parts of the original meadow.

The park maintains four educational trails where visitors learn about local wildlife, natural processes, and environmental protection through guided programs.

Visitors access designated areas for recreation, nature observation, and bird watching through marked paths and observation points across the protected territory.

The Sim Maiakiv Floodplain section contains specialized karst formations that naturally filter water and support numerous fish and bird populations.
