Vasylivka Raion is an administrative district in southern Zaporizhzhia Oblast and encompasses multiple villages and towns centered around the administrative hub of Vasylivka. The territory spans a landscape combining rural settlements, smaller industrial centers, and agricultural areas.
The district was established in 1923 and has been part of Zaporizhzhia Oblast since then. In 2020, it underwent significant administrative restructuring when the region consolidated its divisions into fewer raions.
