Vasylivka Raion

Vasylivka Raion is an administrative district in southern Zaporizhzhia Oblast and encompasses multiple villages and towns centered around the administrative hub of Vasylivka. The territory spans a landscape combining rural settlements, smaller industrial centers, and agricultural areas.

The district was established in 1923 and has been part of Zaporizhzhia Oblast since then. In 2020, it underwent significant administrative restructuring when the region consolidated its divisions into fewer raions.

The district maintains eleven distinct hromadas, representing different local communities with their own administrative structures and cultural identities.

The area is most easily accessed through the town region of Vasylivka, which serves as the main entry point for exploring the district. When planning a visit, keep in mind that settlements are spread across relatively flat terrain.

This southern Ukrainian district combines industrial centers and rural territories, operating under the governance of Serhiy Hrachov within Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
