Парк ім. Квітки-Основ'яненка

Kvitka-Osnovianenko Park is a green space in Kharkiv's Novobavarskyi district situated along Moskalivska Street near the Lopan River. It features walking pathways and wooded areas that form the backbone of the public space.

The park was established in the 1770s by Fedir Kvitka as a private family estate. Over time it became a public space and developed into a managed green area.

The park bears the name of Hryhorii Kvitka-Osnovianenko, a writer who shaped Ukrainian literature and remains an important figure in the city's cultural memory. Local people connect this place to his legacy and the city's literary traditions.

The park is accessible from multiple entry points and offers open pathways for walking throughout the day. Visitors should know that some areas near the river become muddy during wet seasons.
