Town hall of Chernivtsi

The Town Hall of Chernivtsi is a structure featuring late classical and Renaissance design elements, rising above the center of the main square with a soft blue facade. A trumpeter dressed in traditional Bukovina clothing plays the melody Marichka from the clock tower observation deck each day at noon. This daily performance is a defining part of how the local community marks time in the old town.
