Former Roman Catholic cemetery in Ivano-Frankivsk

The former Roman Catholic cemetery in Ivano-Frankivsk now functions as a memorial park with preserved gravestones and mausoleums displaying traditional stonework from various periods. The grounds also include a chapel with stained glass windows and can be entered through three gates located throughout the city center.

The burial ground was established in 1782 and served people from various ethnic backgrounds in the region. A major reconstruction in 2002 transformed the site into a modern memorial space while preserving its historical character.

The grounds hold monuments honoring those who fought for Ukrainian independence and sovereignty across different periods. These memorials reflect the site's role as a place where people remember national struggles.

The site is centrally located with three separate entrances from different city center streets, making it convenient to visit from various directions. Access is generally open, allowing visitors to explore the grounds at their own pace.
