Taras Shevchenko's chamber

Taras Shevchenko's Chamber is a log cabin museum in Cherkasy Raion housing personal items, manuscripts, and artwork of the Ukrainian poet. The collections document his life and creative work through displays of these objects and materials.

The site was established in 1884 as a dedicated space for preserving Shevchenko's legacy under management of the Shevchenko National Reserve. The log cabin was created as a memorial to honor the influential Ukrainian poet and his contributions.
