Lutsk Botanical Garden, Protected botanical garden in Volyn Oblast, Ukraine.
The botanical garden extends across 20 hectares of forested hills on the Rivne plateau, containing more than 900 species of higher plants.
The botanical garden opened in 1977 as a protected natural area dedicated to preserving regional plant species and conducting scientific research.
The garden functions as an educational center where visitors learn about local flora, including rare plants listed in the Red Book of Ukraine.
The State Enterprise Kivertsi Forestry manages the garden, which features walking paths and viewing areas throughout the collection of native and non-native plants.
The garden houses black storks, protected by Ukrainian law, and maintains collections of plants from both Polissya and forest-steppe ecological regions.
